New Camera!

Article text
Canon EOS 50D
I had been toying with the idea of a new camera for a long time. Monday afternoon was wet and I was stuck at home wondering what to do. Go and get that new camera! So off to Preston to Wilkinsons Cameras and in no time at all I was back home unpacking the box. Sticking with Canon, I have gone for an EOS 50D - a big step up from my 400D which has served me well for a coupel of years.
Main new features are: 15 megapixels as opposed to 10 on the 400D, 6.5 frames per second - 3 on the 400D, live view - ideal for macro shots, spot metering - only partial on 400D, great low light capabilities with top ISO of a whopping 12800! top on the 400D is 1600.
Since getting the camera of course it has rained so I haven't had chance yet to get out for a proper session with it. As soon as I do I will be posting some new pics in the gallery!
